ABOUT US
Joe Dawson - (Owner/Operator) has 20+ years of experience with automotive collision repair and paint & body.
As a young adult, Joe attended North Georgia Technical College for Collision Repair & Marine Engine Technology. In 2021, Joe and his wife Kaelan created EG&K in honor of their two children, Kamdyn and Emma Grace.
While this may seem unconventional to many, Joe’s family is at the center of everything he does. EG&K was originally located in Elberton, Ga. After continued growth and the need for more space, in 2023 EG&K Paint Specialist moved to Hartwell, Ga where the shop is currently located. This has allowed easy accessibility for both residents of Elbert and Hart County.
At EG&K Paint Specialist, Joe has always strived to create an atmosphere where our customers are more like family and that we are more than just another “body shop.” In addition to automotive paint and body, we also offer ceramic coating for boats, motorcycles, and even planes! We also offer Rough Country™ aftermarket products to enhance the performance and aesthetics of your vehicle. Our product line includes floor mats, tonneau covers, running boards and much more.
